Hi Daniel,

I think you might be missing the point I’m making. It’s not that this study tracks any individuals life.

It’s showing that over the entire time period for which we have reliable stock return data, an exceedingly few number of stocks made investors money. The point being if you do not have the relatively few number of stocks that drive returns in your portfolio, your investment returns will likely suffer.
