Thanks, Tim Dibble for A fantastic comment. I can imagine how many people fall into that trap of thinking so much about “how” to retire that they give very little thought of the “What” they will do once they get there. With the potential of a very unfulfilling existence which you outlined.

I will be researching this specific topic more soon, maybe starting with some case studies of real people who are living their dream retirement. I’d imagine it starts with a real evaluation of what you value and spending your time and energy on that.
